Richard 'Rick' Allen Jones, 61, of Savannah, Georgia and widower of Kimberly 'Kim' Underwood Jones, died Wednesday afternoon, November 3, 2021, at St. Joseph's Hospital surrounded by his family.



Born in Savannah, Georgia, he was a son of Jeanette Fries Smith and the late David Charles Jones. Rick graduated from Alfred E. Beach High School. He owned and operated Mall Auto Repairs for over 30 years. Rick was a member of Clinton Masonic Lodge #54 F&AM and an active member and supporter of the Alee Shrine Temple. He was all about spending time with his family and his dogs: taking trips to the mountains, boating and socializing.



In addition to his wife of 30 years and his father, he was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Letha Langston Nessola.



Survivors include two sons, Clay Jones and his wife, Jennifer, and Zach Jones and his wife, Lynsie; his mother, Jeanette Fries Smith; two sisters, Beverly Lawhorn and her husband, Gene, and Pamela Lee and her husband, Ricky; his sister-in-law, Kathryn Brantley, and nieces and nephews.



The family will receive friends from 4 until 6 o\'clock Sunday afternoon, November 7, 2021, at Gamble Funeral Service - 410 Stephenson Avenue.



The funeral service will be held at 10 o\'clock Monday morning, November 8, 2021, in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service conducted by the Reverend Dr. Drew Corbett. Interment will be in the Greenwich section of Bonaventure Cemetery.



Active pallbearers will be Clay Jones, Zach Jones, Michael Martin, Scott Vaughan, Larry Corey and David Snyder.
