Rhoda Daniels Quarles went home to be with the Lord on January 5, 2019.
Born in Savannah on June 2, 1924 to the Reverend Milton F. and Mrs. Rhoda I. Daniels, Rhoda spent her entire adulthood in Miami, Florida and passed away at her beloved Miami home.
She is survived by her four children, Mary Nelson (David) O'Dowd, Julian (Alice), William (Lorraine) and Stephen (Kristi); her sister, Nan Harrison; seven grand-children, Christopher, William, Michael, Daniel, Erin, Craig and Jonah; one great grandchild, Julian Christopher Quarles; four nieces, and many cousins.
In addition to her parents, Rhoda was predeceased by her brother, Milton Daniels.
The funeral service will be held at noon, Friday, January 11, 2019 at the graveside, Hillcrest Abbey - East, in Savannah, Georgia, conducted by the Reverend Dr. Terry L. Johnson. She will be laid to rest next to her parents.
