SAVANNAH, GEORGIA - Reba Wills, 89, passed away Tuesday morning in the home of her brother, Ben Wills, who predeceased her in February 2006. Reba was born in Savannah, Georgia and moved to New York City in the 1940s where she started her own business as a buyer for clothing stores, offering designer garments for children. She resided in the upper east end of New York where she welcomed and entertained friends and family with an open heart, open arms and genuine warmth. She visited often with her dear sister, Miriam Wills, a well-known artist who resides in the village in lower Manhattan. She is predeceased by two brothers, Saul and Ben Wills, and by her sister Libby Faber. Reba returned to Savannah in 2005 and lived with her brother and youngest sister, Evelyn Wills. Reba is dearly loved and missed by her two surviving sisters and many loving nephews, nieces, family and caregivers.
The funeral service will be held at 12 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the graveside, Bonaventure Cemetery, conducted by Rabbi Avigdor Slatus.
