Rebecca Jean Dimsdale passed away at 10:49 A. M. on Monday, April 24, 2017, at her home with her son and his spouse, Mercedes Quinones, by her side.
She was born on November 22 1950 in Pinellas, Florida. She moved to Hilton Head Island, South Carolina in 1977 and moved to Savannah in 2000. She worked at citel/American Express as a customer service representative until retirement. She attended Chevis Oaks Baptist Church. She had a great love for animals and helping others. She beat polio as a child, defeated cancer 3 times later in life and survived multiple heart attacks and strokes.
Surviving are her son, Michael Allen Dimsdale; her granddaughter, Isabelle Elaine Jones; brothers, James Davidson and Raymond Brown; sisters, Ginger Ramirez and Sandra Deas; nieces and nephews, Nicki, Sandy, Martin, James, Angie, Robert, Joseph, Elizabeth, Heather, Aaron and Sara, and many grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
The family will receive friends from 2 until 4 o\'clock Sunday afternoon at Gamble Funeral Service - 410 Stephenson Avenue.
