Raymond 'Ray' Myron Rondeau, 52, of Savannah, Georgia, died Tuesday afternoon, January 13, 2015, at St. Joseph's Hospital.
Born at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, he was a son of Donald Isadore Rondeau and the late Harrelle LaTrelle Graham Rondeau. Ray was a communicant of St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church. He was a life-long resident of Savannah and was a terminal manager in the trucking industry. Ray was known for his strong character, talking and telling stories. He loved his family and was an avid outdoorsman who particularly loved animals, the beach, and boating.
Surviving are his fianc??, Theresa Conners and her son, Michael Wolfe; his father and step-mother, Donald I. and Theresa Rondeau; his sister, Donna Lombardo; his brother, Rick Rondeau; his aunts and uncles; his nieces and nephews; his step-sisters, Theresa Fabre and Dee Phillips, and his step-brother, Carl Hartloge.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 7:30 Friday evening at Gamble Funeral Service ' 410 Stephenson Avenue with the Rosary service being held at 7:30 in the funeral home chapel.
The funeral service will be held at 1 o'clock Saturday afternoon in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service conducted by The Reverend Paul A. Gutting. Interment will be private.
