Randall 'Randy' Wayne Smith, 56, of Savannah, Georgia and husband of Cree Bumgarner Smith, died Wednesday morning, November 27, 2013, at his home and under the care of Hospice Savannah.
Born in Savannah, Georgia, he was a son of the late Edward Cohen Smith and the late Mary Frances Stokes Smith. Randy was a member of Southside Baptist Church. He loved his family and friends and thoroughly enjoyed playing football and baseball with his grandchildren.
Surviving are his wife of 36 years, Cree Bumgarner Smith of Savannah; one daughter, Jennifer Smith and her fianc??, Timothy Genest, of Savannah; two sons, Wayne Smith and his fianc??, Barbara D'Angelo, and Andrew Smith and his partner, Dennis Cravens, all of Savannah; two grandsons, Evan Sexton and Jackson Sexton; one brother, Murray Smith and his wife, Yvonne Smith, and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5 until7 o'clock Friday at Gamble Funeral Service ' 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The funeral service will be held at 11 o'clock Saturday morning at Southside Baptist Church conducted by The Reverend Dr. Allan W. Bosson. Interment will be private.
