SAVANNAH, GEORGIA - Randall "Randy" E. Lee, 56, of Savannah, died Friday morning, December 3, 2010, at Candler Hospital.
Born in Nashville, Tennessee, on July 23, 1954, he was a son of Margaret Lorelle Holloway Lee and the late C. E. Lee, Sr. Randy attended the Church of Christ and had lived in Savannah for the past 37 years.
Surviving are his mother, Margaret Lorelle Holloway Lee of Savannah; two sisters, Sherrie Childre and her husband, (Randy's special brother-in-law) Ben, of Louisiana, and Margie Mitchell of Mississippi; an adopted sister, Thelma Fortin of Pooler; a brother, C. E. Lee, Jr. of Alabama; nieces and nephews including a special nephew, Michael Mitchell; some special cousins who were there for him through all of his illness: Sheila Johnson, Cindy Work, George Peters, Paula Hodges, Johnsie Brannen, Sarah Johnson, Lauren Brunson, Megan Brannen; and, his special kitty, Lizzie Bell.
The family will receive friends from 1 until 3 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at Gamble Funeral Service, 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The funeral service will be held at 3 o'clock Tuesday afternoon in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service. Interment will be in the Greenwich section of Bonaventure Cemetery.
The family would like to thank a special nurse, Brad, at Candler 4 North. He not only treated Randy medically, but the emotional treatment he gave Randy and the other members of his family will never be forgotten. Also, we would like to thank Dr. Grant Lewis for his special care.
