Ramon Silverman, a beloved husband, father, and family man passed away on November 4th, 2022 at the age of 91.
He was born in Savannah, GA, in 1931 to the late Ruth and Louis Silverman. He graduated from Benedictine High School, Armstrong College, and achieved a Juris Doctor at the University of Georgia. While at the University of Georgia, he served in the naval reserve during the Korean War. Following graduation and passing the bar, he started the Silverman and Silverman Law Firm with his late brother Harry Silverman. Later, he was a closing attorney for the Corp of Engineers. After leaving the Corp of Engineers, he joined the law firm of Neiman and Silverman and ended his career of many years as a sole practitioner in his office on Abercorn Street.
Ramon was the devoted and beloved husband of Irene Silverman for over 63 years. He was a family man who loved and was adored by his family. He was the parent to Marcia, Walter, and Brian Silverman and a beloved grandparent and great-grandparent to nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
His favorite pastime was to be out on his boat fishing the many waterways of Savannah.
Ramon was a member of the Bnai Brith Jacob Synagogue.

Services for Ramon will be graveside at Bonaventure Cemetery at 11 AM Sunday, November 6th, 2022.
