Phyllis T. Mintz, age 93, of Savannah, GA passed away December 7, 2020 in Colorado Springs, CO. She was born in Brooklyn, NY to the late Gabriel and Anna Tischler.
Phyllis graduated in 1947 from Prospect Place Hospital in NY with a degree in Nursing. She worked as an OR Nurse at Candler Central in Savannah and then as a Case Manager for Intracorp. She was active with the Jewish War Veterans, and as an advisor for B'nai Brith Girls and also Girl Scouts of America.
Phyllis is predeceased by her husbands, Henry L. Tenenbaum and Lawrence Mintz; her daughter, Roberta G. Tenenbaum.
She is survived by her children, Rhonda S. Tenenbaum and Lori T. (Israel D.) Dubin; her grandchildren, Harris R. (Melissa A.) Dubin, and Adam G. Dubin; great-grandchild, Arik R. Dubin.
Phyllis will be buried in Savannah at Bonaventure Cemetery, Sun Dec 13. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there will be no graveside service, nor will there be calling hours. A memorial service may be set for a later date.
