Phillip Lanehart Bratz, 49, of Savannah, Georgia, died Thursday evening, February 4, 2021, of Huntington's Disease.
Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on April 2, 1971, he was a son of Paul Lee Bratz and the late Margaret Jean Hendershot Bratz. Phillip was a communicant of St. James Catholic Church. He was a graduate of West Liberty University where he graduated with honors as a Criminal Justice major. Phillip retired as a private investigator for the Wackenhut Corporation before spending some 13 plus years at Riverview Health and Rehabilitation Center.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret J. Bratz; his step-mother, Joann C. Bratz, and his brother, Paul Lee Bratz, Jr.
Surviving are his father, Paul Lee Bratz, Sr. and his wife, Betsy; his step-brother, Joseph Everly and his wife, Anne Marie; his nephew, George Everly, and his niece, Gracie Everly.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 o'clock Monday morning, February 15, 2021, at St. James Catholic Church conducted by Father Mark J. Ross and Father Daniel F. Firman. Private interment will be in St. George Cemetery in Mt. Oliver, Pennsylvania.
