Paul Lee Bratz,

d. October 23, 2022

Paul Lee Bratz joined the Lord on Sunday October 23, 2022. He was 86 years old, born September 25, 1936, to Catherine and Paul Bratz in Pittsburg P.A. Paul's mission in life was to bring the joy of Christ's love to everyone he met. He was very successful.

He graduated from parochial schools and the University of West Virginia with a MS degree for a double major in Business Administration and Chemistry.

He pursued a successful career as a salesman of intermediate chemicals on the East coast and Chicago. UVW recognized Paul's leadership by making him a member of the West Virginia Emeritus Club. At Acme-Hardesty Paul won many sales awards.

On his last assignment, he moved to the Landings and joined St. James Catholic Church. Paul spent many hours at Riverview Health and Rehabilitation Center where his sons lived, due to their affliction with Huntington's disease.

Paul was an active communicant at the local Catholic church where ever he was. He had training in bereavement counseling and spent years helping his fellow parishioners cope with their losses.

Paul was predeceased by his parents, his sister June and brother-in-law Edward McGervey, two wives, Joann Conflenti Bratz and Margaret Jean Hendershot Bratz, and two sons, Paul Jr. and Phillip Bratz.

Paul is survived by his wife Betsy, son Joseph Everly (Anne Marie), two grandchildren, the twins, George and Gracie Everly, a step daughter- Ronna Everly, and nieces and a nephew.

Paul will be interred in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania at St. John Vianney Parish Cemetery.

The Mass of Christian Burial, with full Military honors, will be held at 11 o'clock Tuesday morning, November 8, 2022, at St. James Church 8412 Whitfield Avenue, Savannah.

The family wishes to thank the Staff at the Oaks at the Marshes, and Love Is Better at Home, for the special care that they gave Paul during his last five months, in particular Robin Williams. Also we wish to thank the Eucharistic Ministers, Priests and Deacon Lou who visited Paul and helped him practice his faith.

Remembrances to St. James Church or Riverview Health and Rehabilitation Center, 6711 LaRoche Avenue, Savannah, Georgia 31406 would be a great tribute to Paul.
