Patrick 'Pat' James Driscoll, 61, of Guyton, Georgia, died Tuesday afternoon, November 8, 2016, at his home.
Born into a military family in Straubing Germany on November 14, 1954, he was a son of the late 1SG James Alvin Driscoll, U.S. Army (Ret.) and the late Erna L. Schr??der Driscoll. Patrick was honorably discharged from the United States Air Force after serving from August 1974 to August 1980. He worked at the jail for the Chatham County Sheriff's Office, later for many years with Southern Natural Gas (now Kinder Morgan Corp), from where he retired. Patrick was the co-owner of the Norwood Tavern. He was a longtime member and participant of The Savannah Area Darting Association, where he invested many hours of support. Patrick cherished the many friendships he formed with his fellow darters. His family thanks all of you for all that you did for Patrick.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a special longtime friend, Sue Williams.
Surviving are two sisters, Elizabeth Driscoll and Susan (Patrick) Wigginton; three brothers, James A. Driscoll, Jr., Ralph Driscoll and William Cleveland; two nieces, Kristina (Sean) Clifton and Rebecca Kirby; great-nieces, Rhaianon Kirby and Nani Clifton, and great-nephews, Christopher Clifton, Preston Clifton and Shawn Deal.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 o'clock Friday evening at Gamble Funeral Service ' 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The funeral service, with military honors, will be held at 10 o'clock Saturday morning at the graveside, Greenwich section of Bonaventure Cemetery, conducted by The Reverend Patrick S. O'Brien.
