Patricia Ann Dennis

TYBEE ISLAND, GEORGIA - Patricia "Patty" Ann Dennis, 69, of Tybee Island, Georgia, died Thursday morning, July 30, 2009, at her home under the care of Hospice Savannah.
Born in Savannah, Georgia, she was a daughter of Melba Holiday Strickland Rogers and the late Joe Vernon Rogers. She was a member of Trinity Chapel United Methodist Church and was a homemaker. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her longtime companion, Andrew "Andy" James DeHay.
Surviving are one daughter, Vickie Ann Horton and her husband, Don, of Guyton, Georgia; two sons, Timothy Joe Dennis of New Oxford, Pennsylvania, and Robert Lee Dennis of Jesup, Georgia; her mother, Melba Holiday Strickland Rogers of Savannah, Georgia; one brother, Robert D. Davis and his wife, Anne, of Harvest, Alabama; ten grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 5 o'clock Sunday afternoon in Trinity Chapel United Methodist Church on Tybee Island conducted by The Reverend Andrew H. Lamon.  Interment will be private.
