SAVANNAH, GEORGIA - Patricia "Patty" Anne Armfield, 77, of Savannah, Georgia, wife of Charles "Charlie" Edison Armfield died Saturday afternoon, June 11, 2011, at St. Joseph's Hospital.
Born in Savannah, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late John Joseph Wolfe, Sr. and Annie Mae Pollett Wolfe. Mrs. Armfield was a communicant of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church and was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons: Mike Armfield, Tony Armfield and Kenneth Scott Armfield, and her brother, John Joseph Wolfe, Jr.
Surviving are her husband of 56 years, Charles "Charlie" Edison Armfield of Savannah, Georgia; four daughters, Karen McElveen and her husband, Anthony, of Rincon, Georgia, Kim Beasley and her husband, Larry, of Savannah, Georgia, Terri Myers and her husband, Bill "Bo", of Guyton, Georgia, and Pam Luk and her husband, Bob, of Rome, Georgia; four grandchildren, Shayne McElveen, Richard Luk, Preston Luk and Jessica Luk, and two step-grandchildren, Jennifer Robinson and Kristin Robinson.
The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 o'clock Tuesday at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church with the Vigil service being held at 6 o'clock.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 o'clock Wednesday morning in St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church conducted by Monsignor Francis J. Nelson. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
