Norman Epstein, 72, of Savannah, Georgia and husband of Jan Weiss Epstein, died Friday afternoon, April 15, 2022, at St. Joseph's Hospital.
Born in Savannah, Georgia, he was a son of the late Elliott Epstein and the late Sarah Kaplan Epstein. Norman was a member of Congregation Bnai Brith Jacob, where he was a longtime member of the Brotherhood. He served in the United States Coast Guard Reserves. Norman graduated from Savannah High School and attended Armstrong College. He retired after a long career in the furniture business. Norman enjoyed spending time with his family, reading and Star Trek.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Hymie Epstein.
Surviving are his wife of 13 years, Jan Weiss Epstein; two sons, Elliott Epstein and his wife, Kelly, and Sam Epstein and his wife, Alessandra; one step-daughter, Rachel Wisniewski and her husband, Matthew; one step-son, Seth Brody and his wife, Emily; five grandchildren, Naomi, Bram, Ryder, Oliver and Lily; one sister, Rosalyn Campbell and her husband, Bert; two brothers, David Epstein and Jay Epstein and his wife, Donna, and nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at 11 o\'clock Monday morning, April 18, 2022, at the graveside, Bonaventure Cemetery, conducted by Rabbi Avigdor Slatus.
