Nellie Smith Grimm, 85, of Midway, Georgia, died Tuesday, March 20, 2018, at Glenvue Nursing Home in Glennville, Georgia.
Nellie was born December 1, 1932, daughter of the late Elmer Lee Smith and the late Bessie Mae Carpenter Smith. She was a member of the Midway United Methodist Church and retired from Wachovia Bank in Savannah.
She was also preceded in death by two daughters, Susan Carol Waters and Nancy Kaye Edmunds.
Surviving are husband, Peyton Grimm; son and his wife, Charles and Jeannette Mobley; granddaughters, Bonnie Edmunds and Sarah Roszkowiak; a brother Dennis L. Smith and his wife Sandra, and a sister Brenda McBrayer and her husband Tom; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 10:30 until 11:30 Friday morning, March 23, 2018, at Gamble Funeral Service ' 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The funeral service will be held at 11:30 Friday morning in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service conducted by The Reverend Dr. Drew Corbett. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer\'s Association, Georgia Chapter ' 201 Television Circle, Savannah, Georgia 31406.
