Naomi Rogers, age 83, passed away on September 11, 2020.
She moved to Savannah from the North, when she was 2 years old. Naomi attended Armstrong State College and SCAD. Sickness in the family, resulting from hard times, caused her not to complete the brief time left to obtain her degree. She went on to take brief courses when she could.
In 1955, Naomi married Rueben Rosenberg. They operated an independent pharmacy in midtown until his illness and impending death in 1996.
They have two children, Heidi Pevey and Jay Rosenberg, and two grandchildren, Lisa Giddens and Rose Gabriel Pevey.
In 2001, Naomi married Lt. Colonel Warren C. Rogers, United States Air Force (Ret.), who passed away recently.
The funeral service was held at 1 o'clock Monday afternoon, September 14, 2020, at the graveside, Bonaventure Cemetery, conducted by Rabbi Avigdor Slatus.
