Nancy Kahan Paderewski, 80, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family. She was the oldest of three siblings born to Alvin and Marjorie Kahan in Columbus, OH. Nancy attended Bexley High School and Pine Manor College.
She worked for Delta Airlines in Atlanta, where she met her future husband of 56 years, Dr. Jules B. Paderewski. After moving to Savannah, Nancy volunteered her time to the Savannah Historic Society, the American Cancer Society, Bethesda Academy and The Humane Society. She also served on the board of Congregation Mickve Israel.
Nancy was a devoted and loving mother and wife, whose commitment to her family was unwavering. Her passion for travel led her to work a stint at Hemisphere Travel. Nancy was equally at home traveling to a far corner of the globe or curled up with a book at Tybee. Her easy going disposition and laid back demeanor earned her friends and companions everywhere she went.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Dr. Jules B. Paderewski, her sons Barney Paderewski (Amy) and Michael Paderewski (Amy), Grandchildren: Cody Paderewski (Megan), Gabrielle Paderewski, Jake Paderewski, Alexander Paderewski, Will Paderewski and Great granddaughter Blair Farber, Brothers: Robert Kahan (Nancy) and James Kahan, Nieces and Nephews: Jason Kahan, Nina Cummins, Andrew Kahan, Cousins: Barbara and Marty Pollack, Jennifer Crim, Brent Pollack.

A graveside service will be held Sunday September 29, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Bonaventure Cemetery.
Family will sit shiva at 3 Peregrine Crossing (Skidaway Island) on Sunday and Monday evening from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m.
