Mrs. Nancy Louise Cox Minsky, 78, of Savannah, Georgia, faithful and loving widow of the Reverend Dr. Barry Joel Minsky, died and went to be with the Lord God Jehovah whom she served all of her life, on Sunday morning, October 3, 2021, at Healing Hearts Assisted Living in Sierra Vista, AZ.
Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Ronald Atmore Cox and the late Desna May Boyd Cox. The Lord saved Nancy when she was young, and above all, Nancy was a servant of the Lord Jesus Christ. Nancy was a very talented pianist, songwriter, playwright, and vocalist. She used her talents to write Christian music and plays that were played and performed all over the world and translated into several different languages. Nancy married Barry when she was nineteen, and they were active in ministry their whole lives. She was a home missionary with Friends of Israel, a pastor's wife in several civilian churches, and an Army chaplain's wife on military posts in the U.S. and Europe. Wherever she was, she used her gifts to minister to those around her. Nancy said that God has given us a beautiful world and many blessings, but they pale in comparison to the privilege that we have of sharing God's Word with the people who are living around us.
