Nancy Rowell Balcom, 76, widow of Elton Edward Balcom and beloved mother and grandmother, died peacefully Sunday afternoon, November 18, 2012, at Bryan County Health & Rehabilitation Center in Richmond Hill, Georgia surrounded by family and friends.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd Rowell and Pearl Dean Rowell; her sister, Bette Viesel and her brother, John Rowell.
Surviving are her daughter, Lynn Ryle and her husband, Tommy; her son, Anthony Balcom and his wife, Pam; five grandchildren, Lauren Ryle Coleman and her husband, Greg, Emily Ryle, Megan Balcom, Katie Balcom and Blake Balcom, and one brother, Jim Rowell of Alaska.
The funeral service will be private.

The family would like to thank Dr. Gifford Lorenz, Hospice Savannah, and Pauline Thomas and the other caregivers at Bryan County Health and Rehabilitation Center for the special care they gave to Nancy.
