Nadine Virginia Beasley Wilson, 95, of Savannah, Georgia, widow of Leroy Rufus Wilson, passed away Tuesday afternoon, March 15, 2022, at Hospice Savannah.
Born in Bulloch County, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late Clem G. Beasley and the late Claudia Lee Beasley. A 1943 graduate of Millen High School in Jenkins County. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Temple for over fifty years as well as the Chapel Sunday School Class. Nadine worked for several years as a real estate agent and worked with her husband operating their construction business. Nadine enjoyed the senior exercise classes at Calvary and visiting hospitalized and homebound church members. She enjoyed playing cards, shopping, bowling, and dancing. Nadine loved baseball, especially the Atlanta Braves. A true southern belle, Nadine loved her family most of all and will be deeply missed.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brother C.G. Beasley and his wife, Ada, a sister, Lorena Durden and her husband G.W., sister, Gwendolyn Littlefield and her husband Jim; half-brother, Vernon Mincey, and brother-in-law, William H. Thompson, Sr.
Survivors include her children, Janet M. Wilson, Ronald L. Wilson and his wife, Michele, Karolyn 'Candy' Weaver and her husband, Kenny; grandchildren, Katie W. Conley and her husband, Nolan, Virginia 'Ginny' W. Smith, Anna Isabel Wilson; great-grandchildren, Maysen Lee Conley, Bobby Ray Conley, Jason Grant Smith, Kal Leroy Smith; a sister, Margaret Thompson Collins and her husband, Russell, and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 o'clock Friday evening, March 18, 2022, at Gamble Funeral Service ' 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The funeral service will be held at 11 o'clock Saturday morning, March 19, 2022, at Calvary Baptist Temple, conducted by Pastor Kenny Grant. Interment will take place at 2:30 Saturday afternoon, March 19, 2022 in Screven Memorial Cemetery in Sylvania.
