MSgt Gary Michael Wren, U. S. Air Force (Ret.), 53, of Rincon, Georgia and husband of Diana Osborne Wren, died Tuesday morning, September 6, 2016, at St. Joseph's Hospital.
Born in Savannah, Georgia, he was a son of the late Herbert E. Wren and the late Marie Evans Wren. Gary loved spending time with his family, serving his country, and he was a sports fanatic.
Survivors include his wife of almost 23 years, Diana Osborne Wren; one daughter, Sarah Osborne; one granddaughter, Madison; one brother, Derrick Wren and his wife, Janice; his mother-in-law, Juanita O. Arnett and her husband, Dean; one niece, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 o'clock Thursday evening at Gamble Funeral Service ' 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The funeral service will be held at 10 o'clock Friday morning in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service conducted by The Reverend H. Gregory Williams. Interment, with full military honors, will be in Hillcrest Abbey-East.
