Miriam (Middy) Plotkin Stein, 95, of Savannah, Georgia and widow of Gilbert Stein, died Sunday morning, August 28, 2016, at Hospice Savannah.
Miriam was a member of Congregation Bnai Brith Jacob and a life member of the BBJ Sisterhood and Hadassah. She was a member of the JEA and the Jewish Federation. Miriam served the Senior lunches at the JEA with her dear friend, Thelma Rosen, for 13 years.
Surviving are her daughter, Jacquie Marks and her husband, Bob, of Denver, Colorado, and step-son, Dan Stein, of Bowie, Maryland.

The funeral service will be held at 10 o'clock Monday morning at the graveside, Bonaventure Cemetery, conducted by Rabbi Avigdor Slatus.
