THUNDERBOLT, GEORGIA - Mildred Teeple Hill, 67, of Thunderbolt, Georgia, wife of Frank Reynolds Hill III, died Sunday morning, August 16, 2009, at her home under the care of Hospice Savannah.
Mildred was born in Atlanta, Georgia, to the late Charles Alexander Jacobson Teeple, Sr. and the late Mildred Lucile Elmgren Teeple.  Mildred was a lifelong resident of Thunderbolt, Georgia, and was a very active member of Abundant Life Community Church in Pooler. She was the former owner and operator of Teeple's Restaurant in Thunderbolt. Mildred was a member and past chairman of the Bonaventure Historical Society and the Thunderbolt Museum Society.
Surviving are her husband of 46 years, Frank Reynolds Hill III of Thunderbolt, Georgia; one daughter, Kirsten Hill Barrow and her husband, Bill, of Savannah, Georgia, three sons, Christopher Teeple Hill and his wife, Gwen, of Brunswick, Georgia, Frank Reynolds "I. V." Hill IV and his wife, Elizabeth, of Savannah, Georgia, and John Stephen Hill and his wife, Beverly, of Rincon, Georgia; eight grandchildren, Frank Reynolds Hill V, Elizabeth Grayson Hill, Corbin Jeffrey Hill, Cameron Jacob Hill, Christopher Teeple Hill, Jr., Angela Corinne Hill, William Vincent Barrow and John Stephen Barrow; two brothers, Charles A. J. Teeple, Jr. and his wife, Nell, of Thunderbolt, Georgia, and Ronald E. Teeple and his wife, Shirley, of Savannah, Georgia, and nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 o'clock Tuesday at Gamble Funeral Service, 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The funeral service will be held at 10 o'clock Wednesday morning in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service conducted by Pastor Seth Bridger.  Interment will be in Bonaventure Cemetery.
