Mildred 'Millie' Martignetti Epstein, 85, of Savannah, Ga, and widow of Jack Epstein, passed away Wednesday afternoon, October 6, 2021, at her home.
Born in New York City, New York, Millie was the daughter of the late Raymond Martignetti, Sr. and the late Helen Jeanette Martignetti. Millie graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts from Hunter College in New York City, and was a skilled artist, especially in textile design. She loved painting, especially oil and acrylic impressionist art. Millie also turned to horticulture in her later years, working at a nursery where she was able to embrace her skills in gardening. Millie was also a lover of animals, especially her cats, Tyler, Simon, and Dennis. She was also a great grandma to her grand-doggy, Flapjack. Millie was also an avid baseball fan and loved to follow the New York Yankees.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Raymond Martignetti, Jr.
Survivors include her daughter, Helena Maria Maslansky and her husband, Jon, of Savannah, Georgia; son, Michael Josef Epstein and his wife, Karen Klinger of San Diego, California; cousins, Ann Isabel and Derek Pope.
