SAVANNAH, GEORGIA - Micheal Scott Walden, 40, of Savannah, Georgia, husband of Jennifer Lynn Goodwin Walden, died Thursday afternoon, June 3, 2010, at his home on Wilmington Island under the care of Hospice Savannah.
Born in Augusta, Georgia, he was a son of Ray Edward Walden and Elaine Hill Walden. Scott was a member of Lifebridge Church and was a route salesman for Coca Cola in Savannah. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Mitchell Goodwin.
Surviving are his wife, Jennifer Lynn Goodwin Walden of the home; two daughters, Emma Jewel Walden and Rachel Mae Walden, both of the home; his parents, Ray and Elaine Walden of Augusta, Georgia; one sister, Alicia Denise Jett and her husband, David, of Virginia; two brothers, Mark Edward Walden and his wife, Jennifer, and Ryan Trey Walden and his wife, Holly, all of Augusta, Georgia; his mother-in-law, Elizabeth Goodwin, and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 2 until 4 o'clock Sunday afternoon at Gamble Funeral Service, 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The funeral service will be held at 11 o'clock Monday morning in First Baptist Church of the Islands, conducted by Pastor Chris Hunt and The Reverend Tim Hill. Interment will be in the Greenwich section of Bonaventure cemetery.
