Michael Herrin Wilson, 57 year old son of Jerry and Ann Wilson, passed away at home on June 13, 2022.
Michael was born in Savannah, Ga on September 26, 1964. He graduated from Memorial Day School and attended Middle Georgia College. He was a member of White Bluff United Methodist Church. He enjoyed spending time riding his motorcycle and especially enjoyed small engine mechanics. He also had a special fondness for the family dog, Nikki. Michael's quiet personality was sometimes punctuated with dry humor, and in his special way, he loved his family dearly. Michael found his greatest solace drinking coffee and spending time with his thoughts in the privacy of his waterfront surroundings. His life was lived free from jealously, hate, and greed. Michael accepted each day as it was given and his appreciation for simplicity was one of his most endearing qualities.
Michael will be greatly missed by all who loved him.
Michael is survived by his parents, Jerry and Ann Wilson; sister, Lynne (Dru) Williams; brother, Kenneth (Lisa) Wilson; nephew, Grayson (Sarah) Williams; great-niece, Annabeth Williams; nephew, Zachary Williams; niece, Morgan (Andrew) Brodmann, and great-nephew, Luke Brodmann.
Additionally, Michael is predeceased by his nephew, Cory Wilson.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 20 at Greenwich Cemetery.
