SAVANNAH, GEORGIA - Michael Anthony Thrasher, 58, of Savannah, Georgia, died Friday morning, May 11, 2012, at St. Joseph's Hospital.
Born in El Paso, Texas, he was a son of Dorothy Lee Popham Thrasher and the late Claude Carlton Thrasher. Michael was a member of Savannah Christian Church and was an inventory specialist for RGIS. He loved race cars. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Alan Carlton Thrasher.
Surviving is his mother of Savannah, Georgia.
The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 o'clock Monday afternoon at Gamble Funeral Service - 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The funeral service will be held at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service conducted by The Reverend Jim Bolen. Private interment will be in Beaufort National Cemetery.
