SAVANNAH, GEORGIA - Michael Louis Sutker, 67, of Savannah, Georgia, died Thursday morning, May 27, 2010, at Hospice Savannah.
Born in Savannah, Georgia, he was a son of the late Hymie Sutker and the late Gertrude Shoob Sutker. Michael was a former employee of Gottlieb's Bakery and Punch and Judy. He loved animals and was a caretaker to many.
Survivors include two sisters, Sherry Tillinger of Atlanta, Georgia, and Debbie Waldrop and her husband, Dr. Tommy Waldrop, of Midlothian, Virginia; five nieces and nephews, Laurie Carlton and her husband, Bob, Lisa Johansen and her husband, Roy, Mark Tillinger and his wife, Theresa, Dr. Kim Kirschner and her husband, Robert, and Todd Waldrop and his wife, Jane; five great-nieces and great-nephews, and his devoted friend, Eileen Ward.
The funeral service will be held at 1:30 o'clock Friday afternoon at the graveside, Bonaventure Cemetery, conducted by Rabbi Avigdor Slatus.
