Meredith Porter Jones Hyche, 37, of Savannah, Georgia and wife of John Royce Hyche, died Thursday morning, March 22, 2018, at her home.
Born in Louisville, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late Richard C. Jones and the late Kristina Ann Kath Jones. Meredith earned her associates degree as a paralegal. She was an avid University of Kentucky basketball fan but her greatest love was being a devoted wife, mom and sister.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Malcolm Hyche.
Surviving are her husband, John Royce Hyche; one daughter, Emerson Lee Clark; one son, Patrick Royce Hyche; one sister, Sarah Zellhoefer (Jon); her mother-in-law, Elaine Hyche (Keith Tuten), and one nephew, Memphis Zellhoefer.
The family will receive friends from 4 until 6 o'clock Saturday, April 7, 2018, at Gamble Funeral Service - 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The funeral service will be held at 6 o'clock Saturday evening, April 7, 2018, in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service conducted by Chatham Emergency Services Chaplain Dale Simmons. Interment will be private.
