Max Kaplan, 87, of Savannah, Georgia, died Tuesday evening, March 17, 2015, at Abercorn Rehabilitation Center.
Born in Savannah, Georgia, he was a son of the late Sam Kaplan and the late Sarah Bobrow Kaplan. Mr. Kaplan was of the Jewish faith. He worked for his brother Alex at Alexs Super Duper, and he also owned and operated Max Paint.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Sylvia Richman, and his brothers, Alex Kaplan, Herman Kaplan, Harry Kaplan and Henry Kaplan.
Surviving are his nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon at the graveside, Bonaventure Cemetery.
