Mary Elizabeth 'Betty' Brinson Dasher, 70, of Savannah, Georgia and wife of Ernest Cleveland 'Cleve' Dasher, Jr., died Saturday morning, August 20, 2016, at Memorial University Medical Center.



Born in Savannah, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late Glenn Brannen Brinson and the late Mary Swann Brinson. Betty was a member of Savannah Christian Church now Compassion Christian Church). She graduated from Jenkins High School ' Class of 1963. She worked with Savannah Bank and Trust, Hunter Army Airfield, and then retired as a computer operator with the Corps of Engineers. Betty loved her family dearly including her extended feline family. She was the most giving, non-selfish and non-judgmental person to know and she will be missed beyond words. The comfort of knowing she is with our Heavenly Father above, and able to look down upon us with completely restored good health and eyes, will bring us the peace we need to get through this tough time.



In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Ernest Cleveland Dasher III, and a sister, Fran Brinson Pennington.



Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Ernest Cleveland 'Cleve' Dasher, Jr. of Savannah; one daughter, Shari Dasher of Savannah; one son, Patrick Scott Dasher and his wife, Debbie, of Jefferson, Georgia; one brother, Glenn B. Brinson, Jr. and his wife, Ernie, of Watkinsville, Georgia; two nieces; her cousins including Nancy Thomas, and a lifelong friend, Andrea Kennedy.



The family will receive friends from 4 until 6 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at Gamble Funeral Service - 410 Stephenson Avenue.



The funeral service will be held at 6 o'clock Tuesday evening in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service conducted by Pastor William Miller, Jr. Interment will be private.
