Mary Dartheal Crosby Blackburn, 86, of Savannah, Georgia and widow of Corrie Holmes Blackburn, Jr., died Friday morning, April 5, 2013, at home.
Born in Groveland, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late Carl Crosby and the late Lela Miles Crosby. Mrs. Blackburn was a member of Bonny Bridge Baptist Church in Port Wentworth. She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking and gardening.
Surviving are three sons, Charles Blackburn and his wife, Yolonda, of Savannah, Jerry Blackburn of Jacksonville, and Larry Blackburn of Springfield; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
The family will receive friends from 3 until 5 o'clock Sunday afternoon at Gamble Funeral Service ' 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The funeral service will be held at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon at the graveside, Hillcrest Abbey ' East, conducted by The Reverend Cecil F. Gray.
