SAVANNAH, GEORGIA - Mary Teresa Gambale Barry, 94, of Savannah, Georgia, widow of Nelson W. Barry, died Monday morning, July 5, 2010, at Habersham House.
Born in Swampscott, Massachusetts, she was a daughter of the late Generoso Gambale and the late Amelia Gambale. Mrs. Barry was of the Catholic faith and was a retired seamstress.
Surviving are two sons, Michael Barry and his wife, Patricia of Savannah, Georgia and Richard Barry of New York City; one sister, Anne Amirault of Dalton, Massachusetts; one brother, Fred Gambale of Swampscott, Massachusetts; two grandchildren, Craig Barry and his wife, Joanne of San Diego, California, Michelle B. Patel and her husband, Rohit of Goshen, New York; three great grandchildren, Erin Barry, Grace Patel, Cooper Patel and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Odyssey Hospice and Habersham House for their kind care and attention that they received during this time.
