Mary Lee Pead Barrowman, 72, of Thunderbolt, Georgia and widow of James Samuel 'Jimmy' Barrowman III, died Wednesday evening, June 28, 2017, at her home.
Born in Thunderbolt, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late Russell Pead and the late Tiny Alderman Pead. Mary was a member of Thunderbolt Baptist Church. She was a lifelong resident of Thunderbolt and a member of The Thunderbolt Museum Society.
Surviving are three daughters, Lisa Gregory of Savannah, Amy Conners of Thunderbolt and Crystal Garcia of South Carolina; five grandchildren including Chelsea Conners-Stuart and her husband, Neil, and Taylor Evans and her husband, Thomas, and several great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 2 until 4 o'clock Saturday afternoon at Gamble Funeral Service ' 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The funeral service will be held 4 o'clock Saturday afternoon in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service conducted by The Reverend Lionel Marmolejo. Interment will be private.
