Martha Addie Hord Wester, 73, of Savannah, Georgia and wife of Clyde McCampbell Wester, Jr., died Sunday morning, May 9, 2021, at St. Joseph's Hospital due to complications from cancer.
Born in Gastonia, North Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Carl Hord and the late Jewel Smith Hord. Martha graduated from Savannah High School and Bolen Draughon's Business College. She was secretary to the President of Liberty Bank, Executive Secretary of the Metropolitan Planning Commission, and worked for years in many capacities at Hancock Askew & Co.
Surviving are her husband, Clyde McCampbell Wester, Jr.; her brother, Raymond Hord and his wife, Sandra, and her beloved fur baby, Sophie.
A private graveside service will be held at 10 o'clock Wednesday morning, May 12, 2021, in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
