Martha J. Bovee 79, of Seffner, Florida, died on Thursday morning, July 13, 2017, at 11 o'clock in LifePath Hospice Care following a long illness.



Born in Manhattan, New York City, New York on November 11, 1937. Martha was a member of New Hope United Methodist Church of Brandon, Florida. She was a retired piano and organ teacher for 50 years and former organist and music director at Trinity Lutheran Church in Savannah, Georgia for 38 years. Martha was also a former Lioness of the Port City Lions Club in Savannah, Georgia, where she held many offices.



She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert H. Bovee, Sr. and her son, Robert H. Bovee Jr.



Surviving are her daughter, Denise Bovee of Seffner, Florida; her son, David Bovee of Savannah, Georgia; her daughters-in-law, Joyce Bovee of Savannah, Georgia and Sandra Kay Bovee of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; her grandchildren, Daniel Bovee and Robert, 'RJ' Bovee, both of Savannah, Georgia, Kaylee Bovee of Seffner, Florida, and Alexa and Madison Rego, both of Valrico, Florida, and several 'adopted' grandchildren.



The family will receive friends from 9 until 10 o\'clock Saturday morning at Gamble Funeral Service - 410 Stephenson Avenue.



The funeral service will be held at 10 o\'clock Saturday morning in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service. Interment will be in the Greenwich section of Bonaventure Cemetery.
