Mark Anthony Welch, 50, of Savannah, Georgia and husband of Amy Callahan Welch, died Wednesday evening, April 20, 2016, at Memorial University Medical Center.
Born in Savannah, Georgia, he was a son of the late Joseph Gordon Welch and the late Mary Pearl Wilson Welch. Mark was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church. He was a United States Army veteran. Mark was General Manager of Clean Sweep, a division of Tidewater Landscaping, for 25 years.
Surviving are his wife of 16 years, Amy Callahan Welch of Savannah, Georgia; one daughter, Sarah Hafer of Richmond Hill, Georgia; one sister, Janet W. Wilson of Springfield, Georgia; one brother, Chris McGee of Savannah, Georgia, and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 1 until 3 o'clock Saturday afternoon at Gamble Funeral Service ' 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The funeral service will be held at 3 o'clock Saturday afternoon in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service conducted by The Reverend Jackie Gordon. Interment will be private.
