Mark Daniel Tillman, 56, of Savannah, Georgia and husband of Kristine 'Kris' Marie Dilger Tillman, died Wednesday morning, February 7, 2018, at the Oaks at Pooler.
Born in Savannah, Georgia, he was a son of Elise Lanier Tillman and the late Huey Blanton Tillman. Mark was a member of Wilmington Island United Methodist Church. He graduated from Armstrong Atlantic State University where he was an amazing pitcher for the Pirates. Mark was an Environmental Health and Safety Manager at Arizona Chemical Company. He was an avid UGA fan who was sports oriented and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Surviving are his wife of 17 years, Kristine 'Kris' Marie Dilger Tillman of Savannah, Georgia; two daughters, Alyssa D. Tillman and Katherine L. Tillman, both of Phoenix, Arizona; one son, Joshua J. Tillman of Savannah, Georgia; his mother, Elise Lanier Tillman of Savannah, Georgia; two brothers, R. Steven Tillman and his wife, Diane, of Gentry, Arkansas and Tommy Tillman and his wife, Laurie, of Savannah, Georgia, and nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 2 until 4 o'clock Sunday afternoon at Gamble Funeral Service ' 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The funeral service will be held at 10 o'clock Monday morning in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service conducted by Father Jean-Luc Zadroga. Interment will be in the Greenwich section of Bonaventure Cemetery.
