Marion Ruth Bullis, 84, of Savannah, Georgia and wife of Harvey William Bullis, died Wednesday
morning, November 1, 2023, at St. Joseph Hospital.
Born in Hartford, Connecticut, she was a daughter of the late William Joseph Gillette and the late
Marion Waldron Gillette Breen. Marion was a school bus driver for many years. She worked at J.C.
Lewis Ford as a Warranty Clerk for over 20 years. She loved spending time with family and friends. She
enjoyed her flowers and feeding the birds.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded by two sisters, Adell Urban and Georgianna Conklin; five
brothers, Walter Gillette, William Gillette, Alan Gillette, Richard Gillette, and Robert Gillette; and
grandson James Wilber.
Survivors are her husband of 43 years, Harvey William Bullis of Savannah, Georgia; six children, Deborah Wilber of Winsted, Connecticut, Henry Beauregard of North Carolina, John Beauregard and wife, Cindy Richmond of Massachusetts, Wendy Grooms and husband Patrick of Richmond Hill, Georgia, Sherry Snyder and husband, James of High Point, North Carolina, and Walter Bullis and wife, Sonya of Sylvania, Georgia; 17 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; two sisters, Donna Buyak and husband, Eugene of Connecticut and Carol Blass of Florida; and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Saturday, November 11, 2023 at 2:00pm followed by the memorial service at 3:00pm at Gamble Funeral Home, 410Stephenson Avenue, Savannah, Georgia. The service will be live streamed at the link below.
