Marilyn Lee (Franklin) Eichelbaum, 76, of Savannah, Georgia and wife of Marvin Frederick Eichelbaum, died Saturday morning, November 25, 2017, at Memorial University Medical Center.
Born in Detroit, Michigan, she was a daughter of the late Manny Franklin and the late Golda Zelmon Franklin. Marilyn was a member of Congregation Mickve Israel. She and her husband and son own and operate Uniform Source Stores. Marilyn's biggest enjoyment was her constant contact with her large family and her friends. She enjoyed playing tennis, bridge and charity work. Marilyn will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who always had a positive outlook and terrific sense of humor.
Surviving are her husband of 57 years, Marvin Eichelbaum of Savannah, Georgia; two sons, Dennis Eichelbaum and his wife, Julie, of Dallas, Texas; David Eichelbaum and his wife, Katie, of Savannah, Georgia, and; one daughter, Susan Goldstein and her husband, David, of Israel; thirteen grandchildren, Bari Eichelbaum, Emma Eichelbaum, Aaron Eichelbaum, Natalie Eichelbaum, Max Eichelbaum, Elizabeth Eichelbaum, Zippora Zuber and her husband, Mordechai, Miriam Deustch and her husband, Bnaya, Elisheva Lieberman and her husband, Yossi, Shaia Goldstein, Gila Goldstein, Hadassah Goldstein and Yechezkel Goldstein; five great-grandchildren, Levi, Uriel, Naomi, Hodaya and Elena, and one brother, Robert Franklin and his wife, Margie, of Auburn Hills, Michigan.
The funeral service will be held at 11 o'clock Tuesday morning at the graveside, Bonaventure Cemetery, conducted by Rabbi Robert W. Haas and Rabbi Avigdor Slatus.
