Marianna DeFilippo Heiman, 51, of Savannah, Georgia, died Sunday afternoon, June 9, 2013, at her home and under the care of Spanish Oaks Hospice.
Born in Newark, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Victor DeFilippo and the late Madeline Palmisano DeFilippo. She was also the sister of the late Pamela DeFilippo. Marianna was of the Catholic faith and was a waitress.
Surviving are two daughters, Nicole Williams and her husband, Robb, and Victoria Siciliano and her husband, Dominick; one son, Michael G. Avallone and his wife, Arlene; five grandchildren, Caitlyn, D.J., Nicco, Ian and Shenley; one brother, Victor DeFilippo and his wife, Judy, and her friend and roommate, Bob Jeffery.
The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 o'clock Wednesday at Gamble Funeral Service ' 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The funeral service will be held at 7 o'clock Wednesday evening in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service conducted by The Reverend Dr. Drew Corbett.
