SAVANNAH, GEORGIA - Margie Grice Galletta, 88, of Savannah, Georgia, widow of Philip Anthony Galletta, died Friday morning, May 27, 2011, at St. Joseph's Hospital.
Born in Claxton, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late Thomas Grice and the late Minnie Harrington Grice. Mrs. Galletta was of the Methodist faith. She was a master craftsman who enjoyed making and selling crafts. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Toy DeLoach, Maudell Johnson and Jo Lariscy.
Surviving are her son, Robert F. Coleman and his wife, Donna, of Bloomingdale, Georgia; two grandchildren, Thomas Coleman and Karen Coleman, and seven great-grandchildren, Robert Neveu, Ryan Neveu and Jesse Neveu, all of Washington, and Thomas Coleman II, Kimberly Coleman, Brandy Coleman and Katherine Coleman, all of Bloomingdale, Georgia.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 o'clock Tuesday evening at Gamble Funeral Service - 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The funeral service will be held at 10 o'clock Wednesday morning in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service. Interment will be in the Greenwich section of Bonaventure Cemetery.
