Margaret 'Margy' Nixon Ranew, 58, of Savannah, Georgia and wife of Sidney Paul Ranew, died Sunday afternoon, August 18, 2013, at Candler Hospital.
The Savannah native was a member of Southside Baptist Church where she was very active and involved.
Surviving are her husband, S. Paul Ranew; her son, David A. Ranew; her daughter, Deborah L. Ranew; her daughter-in-law, Tracy P. Ranew; two grandsons, Andrew and Alex, and her sister, Barbara A. Nixon, all of Savannah.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 o'clock Tuesday evening at Gamble Funeral Service ' 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The funeral service will be held at 11 o'clock Wednesday morning in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service. Interment will be private.
