Margaret 'Jane' Grady Iocovozzi, 77, of Savannah, Georgia and widow of Anthony Nicolas Iocovozzi, died Friday morning, June 6, 2014, at Wisteria Gardens of Pooler.
Mrs. Iocovozzi was born in East St. Louis, Illinois on February 27, 1937 to the late Richard James Grady and Jeanette Williams Grady.?? She moved to Savannah in the early 1950's and married Anthony Nicolas Iocovozzi on February 9, 1957 at Blessed Sacrament Church.?? She was a homemaker and was of the Catholic faith.?? Mrs. Iocovozzi was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.
Surviving are her children, Rick Iocovozzi, Amy Barnhill, Mark Iocovozzi, Michael Iocovozzi, Gina Iocovozzi-Morrison, and Meg Herrmann; ten grandchildren; one great-grandchild, and many nieces and nephews.
The Rosary service will be held at 6 o'clock Monday evening in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service ' 410 Stephenson Avenue, with the family receiving friends afterwards until 8 o'clock.
The Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 o'clock Tuesday morning in the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist?? conducted by The Reverend Daniel F. Firmin.?? Interment will be in the Catholic Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the staff and friends of Wisteria Gardens for the excellent care given to Mrs. Iocovozzi.
