Margaret 'Lorelle' Holloway Lee, 89, was peacefully welcomed into the arms of Our Lord on Saturday, June 20, 2015. A 42-year resident of Savannah, Lorelle was born in Springfield, Tennessee, on April 8, 1926. She lived and raised her family in Nashville, Tennessee and Jackson, Mississippi. Lorelle was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Because of her magnanimous nature, she was known as 'The Family Caregiver'. She unselfishly gave of herself to all who needed her loving care. She was cherished by all and will be greatly missed.



She was greeted by those who preceded her in death: her husband of 40 years, C. E. Lee, Sr.; devoted son, Randall Lee; cherished son-in-law, Thomas Mitchell, Sr.; mother and step-father, Gladys and Dave Ketcham; father and step-mother, George and Nellie Holloway; beloved sister, Connie Peters; two brothers, Robert and Jerry Holloway, and twin great-grandchildren.



She is survived by her children, Margaret 'Margie' Mitchell of Jackson, Mississippi, C. E. 'Bubba' (Susan) Lee, Jr. of Huntsville, Alabama, Sherrie (Ben) Childre of Holden, Louisiana; grandchildren, Tony (Sherry) Mitchell, Tracy (Byron) Carter, Michele (Mike) Speights, Leigh Ann (Andy) Speegle, Michael Mitchell, Allison (Corey) Gray, Jason (Mary) lee, Jarold Lee, Alicia Childre and Wendy Childre; great-grandchildren, Amanda, Trey, Dallas, Will, Chris (Amy), Matt, Andrew, Amber, Quinn, McKinlie, Zane and Elizabeth; great-great-granddaughter, Marilyn; nieces and nephew, Sheila (Gary) Johnson, Cindy (Dan) Work, George Peters, Paula (Stephen) Tilley, Johnsie (Chuck) Brannen and Jonsie Holloway; 14 great-nieces and great-nephews, and 4 great-great-nephews and great-great-niece.



The family will receive friends from 9 until 11 o\'clock Wednesday morning at Gamble Funeral Service - 410 Stephenson Avenue.



The funeral service will be held at 11 o'clock Wednesday morning in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service. Interment will be in the Greenwich section of Bonaventure Cemetery.
