Lynn Jeannette Glasgow Thompson, 77, of Savannah, Georgia and widow of Guyton 'Tom' Louis Thompson, died Wednesday morning, January 3, 2018, at The Adler Center in Aldie, Virginia. She previously resided in Burke, VA.



Born in Memphis, Tennessee, she was a daughter of the late Lynn Tucker Glasgow and the late Maudie Jeanette Murphey Tucker. Mrs. Thompson was of the Catholic faith. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandbabies, exploring different places, have new experiences, and meeting people. She especially enjoyed going for drives, looking at the fall leaves, playing bunko with the ladies, volunteering at church, and going on weekend adventures, as well as reading and watching TV.



In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Joseph 'Joe' Lynn Thompson and a granddaughter, Gabrielle Lynn Thompson.



Surviving are two daughters, Laura Lanette Nichols and her husband, Jeff, of Winder, Georgia, and Beverly Kathleen Tyler and her husband, Terry, of Savannah, Georgia; three sons, Guyton Louis Thompson, Jr. and his wife, Peggy, of Piney Point, Maryland, David Kenneth Thompson, of Savannah, Georgia, Mike Thompson and his wife, Michele, of Savannah, Georgia; fourteen grandchildren, Season, Stephanie, Shawn, Shane, Mandy, Brenton, Lynsie, Noah, Joseph, Jr., Savannah, Alison, Megan, Sarah, Grace, and five great-grandchildren, Benjamin, Julia, Jocelyn, Jack, and Kelley.

The family will receive friends from 11until 12 noon on Monday, January 8, 2018, at Gamble Funeral Service - 410 Stephenson Avenue.



The funeral service will be held at 12 noon Monday, January 8, 2018, in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service conducted by The Reverend James E. Bulluck. Interment will be private.
