SAVANNAH, GEORGIA - Lynette Hall Vickery Tilton, 78, of Savannah, Georgia, wife of Eugene A. Tilton, died Wednesday afternoon, January 26, 2011, at the home of her daughter and son-in-law in Springfield surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Savannah, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late Bobby Hall, Sr. and the late Julia Suddath Hall Brittingham. Mrs. Tilton was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church (formerly Burkhalter Baptist Church). She retired as a receptionist for St. Joseph's Hospital after more than 25 years of service.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Crawford McDonald "Mack" Vickery, Jr., and two brothers, John Suddath Hall and Bobby Hall, Jr.
Surviving are one daughter, Pamela A. Vickery and her husband, Marvin, of Tybee Island and Springfield, Georgia; two sons, Don Vickery of Savannah, Georgia, and Teddy Vickery and his wife, Pam, of Springfield, Georgia; one sister, Mary Julia Smith and her husband, Burney, of Savannah, Georgia; nine grandchildren, Ashley Vickery, Mack Vickery and his wife, Nina, Blake Vickery, Andy Vickery, Clyde Vickery, Ronald Vickery and his wife, Debbie, Donald Vickery and his wife, Michelle, Michelle Ellis and her husband, Jay, and Tony Vickery and his wife, Lynn; 14 great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 o'clock Friday evening at Gamble Funeral Service - 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The funeral service will be held at 11 o'clock Saturday morning in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service conducted by The Reverend Dr. Charles G. Cooper.  Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
