Lyn Ingram Goldberg, 80, of Savannah, Georgia, and husband of Adrienne Sue Condon Goldberg, passed away Thursday morning, February 9, 2023 at his home.
Lyn is preceded in death by his father and mother, Mr. Stanley Goldberg and Mrs. Phyllis Goldberg; one grandson, Alex Samuel Goldberg.
Surviving are his two sons, Mr. Ryan Goldberg and Mr. Darren Goldberg; grandsons, Dylan Goldberg and Jack Goldberg; one sister, Ms. Jill Medlinsky, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Goldberg received his undergraduate degree in Political Science from Princeton University and then went on to law school to receive his Juris Degree from the University of Chicago. His law career began when he served as an Assistant US Attorney before going to private practice where he practiced Immigration law and then personal injury law. After retiring, he continued to advise and help others with legal advice and other matters. When not working hard, he enjoyed traveling, sports cars, art, wine, sporting events, cooking, and fine food, dining and drinks.
A private funeral service was held at 1:15 on Sunday afternoon, February 12, 2023, at the graveside, Bonaventure Cemetery, conducted by Rabbi Robert W. Haas of Congregation Mickve Israel.
