Lydia Benni Katzman

Lydia Barbara Benni Katzman, 84, of Glennville, Georgia and wife of TSgt Harry Lewis Katzman, U. S. Air Force (Ret.), died Saturday evening, June 10, 2017, at Glenvue Health and Rehabilitation in Glennville.



Born in Munich, Germany, she was a daughter of the late Franz Joseph Benni and the late Maria Hermine Hoffmann Benni. Mrs. Katzman was of the Jewish faith. Mrs. Katzman loved being with and doing for her family. Some of her favorite times were sewing and knitting things for those she loved.



Surviving are her husband of 56 years, TSgt Harry Lewis Katzman, U. S. Air Force (Ret.); two daughters, Karma Katzman Cain and Risha Marie Katzman; two step-sons, Jack Lewis Katzman and George Michael Katzman; one grandson, Joshua Aaron Katzman; one sister, Helga Mayne, and one brother, Gunther Wiedemann.



The funeral service will be held at 3 o\'clock Tuesday afternoon at the graveside, Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Glennvile, Georgia, conducted by Rabbi Robert W. Haas.
